Shawn Hedrick made his pro debut in 2009 for the Revolution and is widely considered the greatest local townball pitcher of his generation. He caught the Revs' attention in the April 18 preseason exhibition game, firing two scoreless, hitless innings and striking out four Revolution batters as the starter for the Susquehanna-Central League All-Stars. Hedrick went 10-1 for Red Lion of the Susquehanna League this season, guiding his club to a second straight regular season championship. He spent 16 years pitching for Dover of the Central League, racking up over 150 wins, and leading his club to six Central League titles.
