Brad Senft

Brad had outstanding football careers at Central York High School and the University of Maryland. He helped the Panthers claim a league championship in 1975 while leading the state in scoring with 33 touchdowns and rushing1,504 yards on 166 carries. He was named to the AP All-State Football Team and selected as Central’s first "Big 33" team member. He was awarded a full football scholarship to the University of Maryland. where he played for Jerry Claiborne from 1976 to1981. While playing the defensive end position, he led the Terrapins in sacks and played in both the Sun and Citrus Bowls. He graduated with a BA in Industrial Technology and earned an ACC Academic Senior Award. Recently he was selected as one of the "Top 10 Athletes" to ever represent Cental York High School. Presently he resides in Illinois with his family and is the Regional Manager for Midtronics Incorporated.

   
Jim Rife 

Jim was a three year varsity athlete in basketball and baseball at Central York High School. During his senior year in 1965 he led his basketball team to a York County Championship, led the league in scoring, and was named the outstanding York County Athlete by the YSN committee.. He led his American Legion baseball team to a PA State Championship in 1964. In 1966 he signed a professional baseball contract and was a minor league catcher with the Boston Red Sox until 1968. In 1970 he graduated from Lebanon Valley College where he played varsity basketball during his freshman year. After returning from professional baseball, he played in the York County Central League and was elected into the that league’s HOF in 1996. Since 1966 he has been officiating basketball from high school to college. At the collegiate level his involvement has included both league games and post-season tournaments in the following conferences: ECAC, ACC, Big South, Atlantic 10, Sun Belt, SEC, and Southern. He has officiated in the NIT and NCAA tournaments. Presently he serves as a NBA neutral observer of referees at all the Charlotte Bobcat home games. Recently he was identified as one of the "Top 10 Athletes" to ever represent Central York High School. Presently he lives in North Carolina and is a consultant with the Olympic Packaging Company.

   

Sue Corcoran Bupp Ilyes 

Sue graduated from Dallastown High School in 1972 where she excelled in field hockey and started her thirty-five year career as a major league slow pitch softball player. While playing for Bob Hoffman’s York Barbelletts, she became an All-American and had the opportunity to participate in the first ever Hall of Fame Classic held in Oklahoma where she helped her team defeat the defending national champions. In 1980 the Barbellettes won every tournament they played in and she was able to claim numerous MVP awards, From 1982 to 1993 she played with two different teams, Mr. Darios and the York Pacers, and was able to continue her care er as one of the best women’s softball players in the country. During this time period she only missed one national championship. In 1983 she was voted to the All-World Tournament Team as a shortstop while collecting 21 hits in 40 at bats and leading her team with 17 RBI’s and 13 runs scored. In the 1993 to 2005 seasons she played for Art Hoover’s Lakerettes. During the Lakerettes’ years her team won 10 national champions. Coach Hoover has described Sue as the "Best of the Best" softball player to ever come out of Pennsylvania. During her whole career she was named an All-American 18 times. She resides in York and is a supervisor for the Pella Corporation.
